Applying for membership in the PA Biomass Energy Association is easy and affordable.  The PBEA bylaws provide the organizational framework and governing principles of the association and should be reviewed prior to submitting your membership application.

FOUNDING MEMBER
This membership level is a limited time membership reserved for businesses, corporations, and organizations who wish to contribute to the development of PBEA. This limited-time membership level is being offered from November 1, 2011 until June 1, 2012 at which time this membership level will be retired.

FULL MEMBERS
This membership level is reserved for businesses, corporations, and organizations who wish to support PBEA and receive the benefits of the association.


AFFILIATE MEMBERSHIP
This PBEA affiliation membership is reserved for educational institutions, non-profit trade associations and professional societies, governmental agencies, and non-profit organizations that wish to be affiliated with PBEA mission and activities.


INDIVIDUAL SPONSOR
This membership level is reserved for individuals who share PBEA’s mission and who wish to participate in the Association.

Our mission:
  • Promote and support the use of Pennsylvania’s sustainable biomass feedstocks,
  • Promote and provide guidance on clean, efficient, biomass heat and CHP technologies and installations, and
  • Educate end users and policy makers on how biomass can be used to meet the heat and power needs of Pennsylvania in a cost effective, environmentally responsible manner

FOUNDING MEMBER ($5,000)

This membership level is a limited time membership reserved for businesses, corporations, and organizations who wish to contribute to the development of PBEA. This limited-time membership level is being offered from November 1, 2011 until June 1, 2012 at which time this membership level will be retired. Founding membership benefits include:
  • Payment fulfills full member (sustaining level) dues for two years (2012 and 2013)
  • Voting privileges at PBEA meetings
  • Special recognition in PBEA newsletter
  • Special recognition profile on PBEA website
  • Free registrations for four (4) people at PBEA 2012 events
  • Free advertisement in the annual membership booklet (1-page)
  • Free conference exhibit space at 2012 PBEA annual conference
  • Free subscription to the PBEA newsletter
  • Access to “members only” resources

 

FULL MEMBERS

This membership level is reserved for businesses, corporations, and organizations who wish to receiving the benefits of the association. The membership levels:

Sustaining Level ($1,000)
This membership level is reserved for established for-profit businesses, corporations, and organizations. Full member sustaining level benefits include:
  • Voting privileges at PBEA meetings
  • Recognition in PBEA newsletter
  • Recognition profile and listing on PBEA website
  • Free registrations for two (2) people at PBEA 2012 events
  • 50% discounted advertisement in the annual membership booklet
  • 50% discounted conference exhibit space at 2012 PBEA annual conference
  • Free subscription to the PBEA newsletter
  • Access to “members only” resources
Supporting Level ($500)
This membership level is reserved for for-profit businesses, corporations, and organizations who would like to participate in PBEA; however, at a lower level of benefits. Full member supporting level benefits include:
  • Voting privileges at PBEA meetings
  • Recognition in PBEA newsletter and listing on PBEA website
  • Free registration for one (1) person at PBEA 2012 events
  • 25% discounted advertisement in the annual membership booklet
  • 25% discounted conference exhibit space at 2012 PBEA annual conference
  • Free subscription to the PBEA newsletter
  • Access to “members only” resources

 

AFFILIATE MEMBERSHIP ($200)

This PBEA affiliation membership is reserved for educational institutions, non-profit trade associations and professional societies, governmental agencies, and non-profit organizations that wish to be affiliated with PBEA mission and activities. For entities that have restricted budget funds and are unable to join PBEA because of this restriction, please call PBEA membership relations to request that membership fee is converted to an in-kind contribution. Affiliate membership benefits include:
  • New member announcement in PBEA newsletter
  • Listing on PBEA website
  • 15% discounted registration for one (1) person at PBEA 2012 events
  • 15% discounted advertisement in the annual membership booklet
  • 15% discounted conference exhibit space at 2012 PBEA annual conference
  • Free subscription to the PBEA newsletter

This membership level is reserved for individuals who share PBEA’s mission and who wishes to support the Association. Individual sponsor benefits include:
